#004: BENJAMIN Benjamin
doen't like very loud noises. His pencils are
always, always perfectly sharpened. The observation
has been made that perhaps not all of Benjamin is
as sharp as his writing implements. Benjamin is,
however, wearing a sharp looking tie.
Artist's
comment:
The white, milky glaze on this guy seems tan-colored around
the edges of sculpted or carved decoration. Actually, rather
than changing color, this glaze is automatically thinner
over sharper edges and reveals a little of the clay color
underneath. Nice effect, I think.
