WHISTLE
#014: BEATRICE Beatrice
doesn't miss anything. She is all sweetness and
light, but has a cast-iron will. She was the
self-elected president of her third grade class and
helped erect a new set of shelving in the
children's section of her school library. By the
time she was seven years old, she was a force to be
reckoned with. Now she's in the prime of her life
and a Senator.
Artist's
comments:
This is one of the first examples of using two different
clays in one whistle. The head is cast in a tan clay, and
everything else is white. The glasses are sculpted entirely
out of white clay. I have got to make more of these.
