WHISTLE THUMBNAILS

Artist's comment:
The interesting thing about this basic design is the flexibility I have in choosing the placement of color boundary between the back color and the belly color. I can make the character seem fatter or thinner depending on where the boundary is painted. In this model, the whistle acoustics are on top near the tail. The mouth slit allows for sliding notes by slowly covering and uncovering the opening.

WHISTLE #036: JAKE

Jake has a nice blue-grey back and a white belly. Sound corporate? He's a pretty 9-to-5 creature. When he was younger, other whales poked fun at his larger-than-average waterspout, but it doesn't bother him anymore. A waterspout is a thing of beauty and a joy forever.
