#052: PUNKFISH This
fish lives for the deep, dark nightlife beneath the
sea. This evening, he is ready to swim with the
trend-setters in his black clubbing scales and
bus-yellow gel in his fins. And who could resist
that smile?

comment:
Sculpting the fins was a bit of a challenge because I waited
a little too long to attach them, making the process a
little more tricky than usual. Painting tip: If you're going
to paint a non-black color with black surroundings, brush a
removable resist (like a latex) on the area you want
eventually colored. Then paint the black. When the paint is
dry, remove the resist to expose original clay surface. Then
paint the non-black color. Painting color over black, or
black over another color will likely be unsatisfactory.
